Help Zambian Women
Create A Pathway To
Prosperity
Together, we can transform the lives of
female smallholders and sow a
brighter future for their children
How It All Works
Storage & Elimination of Food Loss
We introduce airtight storage solutions to our farmers and teach them correct storage solutions, so that food is never lost due to spoilage or pests.
Solar Power
We help our farmers gain access to water pumps powered by renewable energy so that they can become resilient in the face of drought.
Healthy Soil
We restore over-exploited soil by treating it with carefully selected nutrients that stabilize greenhouse gas emissions while increasing production.
Reinvestment
Profit shares from produce sold at market are reinvested back into the Harvest Fund, allowing us to expand our impact, year after year.
She dreams beyond poverty.
Caroline is a member of our first farmer cohort, Chikoka Women’s Club, based in the Kafue District of Zambia.
The members of the Chikoka Women’s Club live marginally on $1 a day, generating income from a wide variety of agricultural activities, most notably, a shared vegetable garden.
The increase in her income because of the support of The Harvest Fund helps her feed her family throughout the year and send all of her children - including her daughters - to school.
