    • Help Zambian Women

      Create A Pathway To

      Prosperity

Together, we can transform the lives of

      female smallholders and sow a

      brighter future for their children

      Act Now
    • Our Mission

We are a non-profit social enterprise leveraging technology, finance and training to cultivate independence for marginalized African women in agriculture.

      Discover How
    • How It All Works

More than 60% of the food in Africa is produced by female farmers—and studies show that women tend to reinvest their income back into their families on a much greater scale than men do. When we support women's efforts to produce higher yields, everyone in the community wins. Here's how we're doing it.

      Hermetic Storage

Up to 36% of maize is lost due to poor storage.

We introduce airtight storage solutions to our farmers and teach them correct storage solutions, so that food is never wasted due to spoilage or pests.

      Solar Irrigation

Less than 30% of Africans have access to power.

We help our farmers gain access to solar powered irrigation tools so that they can become independent and resilient in the face of drought.

      Healthy Soil

Degraded soil impacts 485 million Africans annually.

We restore over-exploited soil by treating it with carefully selected nutrients that stabilize greenhouse gas emissions while increasing production.

      Tractor Mechanization

African agricultural productivity could be 3X higher.

We connect our farmers with the right machinery, like smart tractors, so they can maximize the output of the land they farm.

    • She dreams beyond poverty.

Caroline is a member of our first farmer cohort, Chikoka Women’s Club, based in the Kafue District of Zambia.

The members of the Chikoka Women’s Club live marginally on $1 a day, generating income from a wide variety of agricultural activities, most notably, a shared vegetable garden.

The increase in her income because of the support of The Harvest Fund helps her feed her family throughout the year and send all of her children - including her daughters - to school.
