    Mandla Nkomo

    Mandla Nkomo is the Managing Director of the Southern Africa Regional Expertise Centre for Solidaridad Network, a global civil society organization focused on sustainable development. At Solidaridad, he leads a team working across a number of value chains with a focus on digital technology, climate, innovations, gender inclusivity, and impact investments. He has previously worked for TechnoServe driving agribusiness and food security programming strategy for South Africa. He has co-founded a number of diversified agri-food companies in Zimbabwe and South Africa. He serves on the board of the Thembani International Guarantee Fund and is a member of the International Food and Agribusiness Management Association. He is married with two teenage children. He is an avid reader, and is passionate about farming, sports, and development.

     

    He resides in Johannesburg, South Africa.

    William Chilufya

    William Chilufya is the former Country Coordinator of the Zambia Civil Society Scaling Up Nutrition alliance, a global movement across 61 countries working together to end malnutrition. William was instrumental in organizing civil society around Scaling Up Nutrition in Zambia, resulting in his recognition as an authority on discussions surrounding raising the profile of nutrition in Zambia, within civil society, government, and the private sector. William can be found tweeting about nutrition and, in fact, he was recognized by the UK’s The Guardian newspaper as one of the top ten people on Twitter shaping policy and practice on nutrition and development.

     

    William has a Master’s degree in Development Studies from the University of Free States in South Africa.

     

    He resides in Kafue, Zambia.

    Ogochukwu Ibok

    Ogo Ibok is the group CEO of Skill Enhancement Centre (SENCE) Limited, an HR consulting firm; SENCE Agric, an agriculture-based consultancy firm; and Sophie & Grace, a distribution company in the agriculture sector. Prior to her foray into entrepreneurship, she was the Regional Director for HR and Administration for the East, Central and Anglophone West Africa Region with Pfizer Global Pharmaceuticals, overseeing 22 countries.

     

    She is the founder of the award-winning www.agriculturenigeria.com, an online platform that provides agricultural information to stakeholders and attracts 18,000 visitors monthly. As a problem solver, she is currently working on partnerships that will help alleviate the challenges that farmers, especially women, face in accessing loans for their agribusinesses.

     

    She has over 20 years of work experience in Law, Human Resource Management and Business Consulting and holds a Master's degree in Human Resource Management from the Middlesex University, UK.

     

    She resides in Lagos, Nigeria.

    Martha Haile

    Martha Haile is the VP of Africa at Wefarm, where she leads the regional offices in Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania. Prior to Wefarm, she was the chief operating officer at Hello Tractor for four years. Martha has more than 13 years of experience in leading global teams, building strategic partnerships, supporting new market entry, and managing multi-million donor funded programs. While at Hello Tractor, she served as a staff representative on the U.S. President’s Council on Doing Business in Africa (PAC-DBIA). Previously, she co-founded the global engagement community of practice at Booz Allen Hamilton as a senior consultant. Martha received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan and master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Public Policy.

     

    She resides in Nairobi, Kenya.
